you mean the little dots next to the folders? It's actually insanely useful, if you have the time to tag things. Keeps my school/career/random shit all in order.

Nice! I can;t tell you how many teachers, professors, and students I see with completely cluttered desktops. I organize shit into the following: Undergraduate - indivudla classes, all the files there.

Graduate - individual classes, files.

etc.
